Little Eaglet Day

Grace got to be a pilot for a day. All the kids were invited to attend work with their dads to tour the tower, radar room, fire department, and try on gear at the hangar. The tower was pretty neat. One of the older boys got to talk over the radio to a pilot taking off, and you can see in the picture Eric pointing out the plane to Grace. The one picture of her with the mic on her head--we were in the new sonar building. Right now, they are in a moblie home! She didn't much care for Sparky the fire dog; however, she loved playing in the water hose. Then she thought the flight gear was pretty neat! But best of all, Collin got to climb in the cockpit to give the jet a try with is co-pilot, Mr. Fox!
