Oh man...

The kids were getting ready for bed and they normally get to watch a little TV before bedtime. So, keeping with our normal routine, the kiddos were hanging out on the couch having a pretty good time. Everyone was laughing....and then..."Please, someone, get me out of here!"

Eric's Last Flight

Eric had his last flight on July 5th and the kids and I were able to make it! Eric taxied in and was able to park in one of the front spots. After parking, he climb out and was promptly wetted-down with a trash can! Normally, there are fire extinguishers filled with water, but the student on duty sort of forgot! Then Grace was able to pull the handle on the life jacket so it inflated around her dad! We went in the shop and the kids tried on gear...

The 4th

Happy 4th to everyone! We had a blast of a day...first on the agenda was the Big Green Monster with the Digglers and the Pedrottys. When we say big, we really mean montrous. This thing takes up a better half of a backyard, two slides, one slip n slide area, a couple wading pools, sprinklers and jets galore...the list goes on! Then after a much needed nap time, we headed over to the Halberts for a yummy bbq spread!

Abort!

Grace just loves holding her brother, talking to him, making him laugh, and all sorts of other things you can do with a baby brother! She even loves to quickly be done with him...note the forward shoulder motion of Joel, the paci flying out...yep, she's done! Which is why there are no more pictures. The camera had to make an emergency abort to catch the little guy!

Johnny Barf Up

Joel is quite the active fellow and he just loves to kick his little legs all over the place! So we decided the Johnny-Jump Up was the way to go--the others thought it was a blast to bounce him around, and make sure to note the 1800s-esque photo of Grace! Ahh, we are having so much fun!
