Well, we had our annual Pre-Halloween bash with all of our close friends. We munched on some yummy apps before loading up our coolers and hitting the road for some serious trick-or-treating! Collin led the way with his bucket on his head!

Grace's Fall Festival

Grace's school hosted a Fall Festival for the kids and their families. The kids were to dress as a nursery rhyme character and Grace chose the cat and the fiddle! So, there she is. They had a little production where they got on stage and performed the nursery rhyme they dressed up as...so, Grace and Mia were together on the stage! Afterwards, there was a little festival in Kleberg Hall--spin art, scooping for duck, pumpkin ring toss, etc.

We did all sorts of things this Halloween. We went to carnivals, festivals, the pumpkin patch, painted pumpkins, made cookies--just a lot of fun! The first set of pictures are of Grace, Collin and JT at the local pumpkin patch/fall festival. While we were there, we picked out the perfect pumpkins to paint together. As you can see, the kids did a great job--Collin even enjoyed tasting the paint!

Grace's Third Birthday

Our little princess is THREE!!! I truly cannot believe how the time has flown by--just seems like yesterday she was gracing our presence with her own. She is just so full of life and compassionate, a little bossy but clever, intentional but kind. I look forward to all the years to come. In true "Grace" fashion, we had a dress-up princess party. Her dance teacher is also a master face-painter, so we had Ms. Shanda come in a work her magic. It was such a wonderful day for Grace!

Collin's First Haircut

It was a disaster in the beginning...Collin wanted nothing to do with Laura (the hairdresser) and her water bottle! Then he started to really get upset by the middle of the hair cut. And by the end of the episode, he had aquiesced to the whole ordeal and things went back to normal! Although, we didn't get a before and after shot---but I think you can tell by the pictures, we went from super curly to a little boy cut!

Fourth of July 2010

Simple day...and no fireworks! Just too late in the evening for our crew. At least the kids got into the red, white, and blue spirit for church!!!

So, Grace loves to do anything in the kitchen from making breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks to eating all of the food in the house! Her favorite thing to do is work at the stove--she has really learned how to stay away from the hot iron to testing if noodles are done. She has even taught her brother how to pull up the stool and stir! And the last picture is priceless--really is daughter like mother!

Dishers Visit Texas

I know it's been awhile since I blogged to you all---and there has been alot going on. We started our summer with a visit from Grandmommy and Granddadddy. The last time they were here was during Collin's birth...so we had alot to show them! Eric and I were able to go to a Dining Out (a military dinner) during that time and even spent a night away! We had a great time being with family!
