So my mini-van had to go into the shop and Eric requested a car that could hold three carseats--a Mercury Grand Marquis! It even smelled like a grandma! Got to love it...

Red, White and so Blue

So, we were off to a cook-out on Memorial Day weekend, and we thought it would be the perfect photo op of the kids with their matching outfits! Boy, were we wrong?! Collin did not want anything to do with the pictures; however, he took a brief break from crying to give Joel a kiss! Grace kept a perpetual smile and Joel kept thinking, "What the heck?"

2011 Dance Recital

Grace's dance recital was on May 21--and Eric was the one to take her. I saw the dress rehearsal at her last Tippi Toes class. That afternoon, the Tippi Toes Dance Company was invited to run the bases at the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball game. She was pleasantly surprised when she got an actual game ball and she got it signed by a couple of players!

It's a Carnival!

So the end of the year production proved to be a smashing success again this year! This year Collin was a clown and Grace was an acrobat! The second picture was Collin preforming his skit--actually paying more attention on how the balloon attached to the wooden handle was much more entertaining for him. Grace's is the second picture during her performance--jumping on the trampoline followed by a somersault and a curtsy. The last picture is of the whole school singing some of their songs from chapel. Collin is the blur with the bright green shoes and Grace is the braided-hair head between the pick and blue balloon.

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter! We went to church where the kids partipated in a huge egg hunt. Then we headed out to brunch together at McAllister's Deli then home for naptime. Right after naptime, we had an egg hunt of our own. Both kids got baskets filled with all sorts of goodies! The first picture is of the kids helping Eric get ready for our family picture--and we got it! First take was a beaut!

Happy Birthday, Daddy

We celebrated Eric's birthday in a very low-key fashion! It started out making his cake which as you can see was throughly enjoyed but turned out a little crack-y! Don't ask me what happened, but it still tasted great. We moved on to painting toenails outside, dress-up with the Stillman-Holls, and burgers on the grill! The last picture is of Jay-Jay and Joel...note, J is 5 months old and Joel is 8 weeks old!

Sweet Baby Joel

Just a few pictures of the little man himself--some of his first smile, a too-full diaper that busted the snaps on his onesie, bathtime which he loves, sleeping, and just being too adorable!

Intermission

Just a few pictures to enjoy! We just keep busy around here and as you can see everyone is as happy as can be and are really hands on with Joel! Nevermind Joel in the backpack--Eric took the kids to the park on Mother's Day! He said Joel wanted to do the monkey bars, also!
